Meeting Dommer

An interactive installation utilising MediaPipe (Google’s facial tracking API) based on a recent philosophical paper I wrote titled, “Are the concepts of faith, morality and purpose coping mechanisms for the human experience?”.

The demigod formed of distored instanced metal spheres reflects the facial structure of whom it faces and judges them on their faith. This was the first Svineland related project I completed. Here is the pairing poem:

Dagger in sheath cross iron webs,
did one stand tall and draw,
chainmail veiled cross shoulders broad,
did one swing the sword.

Stallions cantor a man will trot,
did ye tie the knot,
for the rope did burn and the rope did not,
did ye tie the knot. 

Muze — Loading

Muze is a connectivity music app which aims to merge communities with a shared appreciation for music. I created a series of app loading animations in TouchDesigner for them.

Experiments

Below is a collation of my TouchDesigner experiments, they all vary in complexity, it’s just a big old pick n mix. There is a blend of my own projects and outcomes from workshops I’ve run, all featured work is my own.
